Ms Finikin ran out of decodable books for a new student at our school. We wrote some stories using limited letter sounds and heart words (words we have to know off by heart). We enjoyed writing stories together. It was hard to use so few letter sounds to tell a story. We illustrated our books for homework. Here are some of the stories we wrote.
