We created board games. We wrote out the rules. Here we are reading our rules. You can match us to our games, print out the games, and play them.

We liked the look of it so we did some experimenting of our own. Some of our pictures worked well. We wonder why some worked better than others.

We wrote recounts of our experiments.

We read some of the Monster stories by Ellen Blance and Ann Cook. We tried to write stories about Monster and his little boy. We thought about the way the authors used language and tried to replicate it.

Jenny reproduced Quentin Blake’s picture for the backdrop of our story. You will notice the picture changes part way through as another child had to fix where she wiped off Monster’s face.
