Some of us kept diaries over the holidays and they showed the fun and the mundane. Some of us had to rely on our memories to help us as we wrote recounts of what we did. In order to decide what to write we brainstormed 5 things we could write about, chose one and brainstormed 3 things about it, then chose one of theses and extended on this with five details. This was a first attempt for some of us at extending our ideas.
