Edible slime

We are teaching each other at the moment.

This week we made edible slime.

First we heated marshmallows in the microwave. Then we added flour and icing sugar. We mixed it all it. We played with it. It was stretchy. It tasted a bit different. Some kids put the slime in the bin because their mums don’t like them eating that much sugar. Finally Ms Finikin made us clean up. The table was sticky.

A Magic Trick

The top groups are writing instructions and teaching each other things.

Robin taught us a cool card trick where your pretend to be able to feel the card in the bag.
It was a good trick, but his ability to shuffle and cut cards is also very impressive.

Poonami

In my orphanage one lady let me feed the baby. Next the lady changed its nappy. The baby did a poonami then the poonami went on the wall. The poonami also went on the lady’s face but the lady didn’t care.

Teacher’s note: Parents and caregivers are truly amazing human beings.

Chinese Paper Cutting

We are starting a new unit on making things.
We have to research how to make something, then write instructions, then teach it to the group.
After the group makes it, the children will write about it.

Here are the simple Chinese decorations we made.
